The Hub
Hawkes Bay Garden Affair’s Hub
is conveniently located between Havelock North and Hastings.
Over Saturday and Sunday (8-9 November) We are planning to present a range of talks and demonstrations on a range of topics, from seasonal cooking to gardening and creating your own flower arrangements.
Please note that you can visit the Hub as many times as you like over the Garden Affair weekend but you do need to present a Garden Affair ticket to enter.

There will be toilets available at the Hub over the weekend.

A Coffee cart will be on site Saturday and Sunday.

There is a garden onsite to explore and enjoy in addition to the talks and demonstrations.

Please note, entry to these events is free but you do need to show your Garden Affair ticket booklet to gain entry to the Hub.
There is no limit to how many times you visit the Hub over the three days. A Coffee Cart will be at the Hub over the three days

Louise is the owner of Bee Haven Gardens, an online plant nursery based in Central Hawke’s Bay. Louise live on 17 hectares of flat land with husband Pete, daughter, son in-law and two grandchildren.
They love turning their space into a haven for wildlife, feeding their family and friends, and generally enjoying all the benefits nature provides.

The Floraliste
Kerin’s passion is sustainable floristry with a penchant for lush, seasonal blooms and garden goodness. Kerin has a reputation as ‘more than just a florist’ with creative, thoughtful design and going above and beyond for her clients to create sustainable, seasonal and stunning floral works. Kerin also offers in person classes as part of her floral services.

Cat has a Bsc in Health Science and a background in Preventative Medicine and Health Coaching. Cat currently runs her own practice Moonrise Wellness where she is a wellness and herbal consultant. Cat also volunteers and teaches courses on personal wellness at the Heretaunga Women’s Centre.

Trudi is a Registered Health Professional with over two decades of acupuncture experience rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a passion for balance and well-being both professionally and personally. and a keen gardener with a love of creating nourishing food.

Our generous Garden Affair Hub host, Jo-anne offers boutique accommodation, a garden wedding venue and in person floristry classes. With a passion for growing and arranging flowers, Jo-Anne has developed a wedding garden and picking garden alongside the olive grove and fruit trees and an impressive collection of indoor plants.

Garden Advice NZ
With a degree in Landscape Architecture, winning 2013 NZ Young Horticulturalist of the Year and over 15 years experience working in the Garden Centre industry, Kelly Jean has a passion for all things garden and a wide range of garden experience and knowledge. In 2021 she teamed up with Garden guru Bill Brett to create Garden Advice NZ, an online garden advice service about best practice that is specific to NZ conditions and science proven.
